About The Edward Jenner Museum

The Edward Jenner Museum, in the historic town of Berkeley, is housed in the elegant Queen Anne house which was Dr Jenner's home from 1785 until his death. Displays celebrate the life and work of this world famous 18th century doctor who was also a medical scientist, pioneer of smallpox vaccination, naturalist, geologist, balloonist, poet...and more! Jenner's 'Temple of Vaccinia' still stands in the garden, as does his vinery, where his cuttings from the Hampton Court vine thrive and produce delicious grapes every summer.
